Workshops & Webinars

Many of the workshops we offer and taught by international experts in English language. We usually offer translation into German as needed but according to our experience this is not requested a lot, so it is not disruptive for those who dont need German translation.

This is your chance to participate in courses with the leading ASI®experts in the world!

Special Group Fee

For all our workshops we have a special group policy: If you sign up a group of at least 4 participants at once, you can chose our cheapest price option - the Early Bird fee, even if is already expired.

Take advantage of this easy formula:

Group of 4+ participants = Early Bird Price

Conditions: all 4 people must sign up within the same day. One of them needs to send an email to office@seminarinstitut.com and declare the names of the group.

The Art of Therapy: Play & Relationship

Art and Science complement each other, only together they result in valid Ayres SI therapy with fidelity to the method.

"Science" is everything you learned in the courses of your SI training about theory, neurophysiology, studies, and evidence. On the "Art of Therapy" however, you learned much less. "Art" refers to the partnership and relationship with the child and the playful atmosphere that the therapist must create while still eliciting those adaptive responses that the child needs to work on.

Judith has worked extensively with play as a DIRFloortime® Instructor and combines ASI® with DIR elements in a lively way in this practical weekend seminar. Whether you've already done a DIR101 or not, this workshop will help you work with the child in an even more partnered, self-organized, playful and holistic way, without losing sight of the science and goals.

Description

This workshop will deepen and enrich every therapist's understanding of how sensory processing and sensory integrative functioning impact our mental health and the development and maintainance of a regulated and adaptive daily life.

In contrast to most other countries, SI started to spread across the UK from the field of mental health. That is why OTs from the UK, especially from ASIWise, the organization we are cooperating with for this workshop, are particularly experienced and advanced in the use of SI with adolescents and adults in the mental health area. They apply SI in an individualised and data driven manner through direct treatment in the clinic, consultation with the client and relevant others, and environmental modifications.

  •  What’s different? What’s the same? - Working across the ages with Ayres SI
  • Assessment
  • Why SI and how do we know it can make a difference? - Outcomes
